Constructed in the year 2380 at the Soltarian shipyards orbital construction.
The Phoenix is a modified Prometheus class multi vector assault vessel, using
technologies from the experimental Premonition class, plus many more.

31 Starfleet Hidden Intelligence recovered an abandoned Borg Cube, originating
from Unimatrix 001. After close study it was determined to be an updated
design with new technologies. Using these new technologies, Starfleet
Operations in a joint venture with Intelligence modified these new technologies
for use in Starfleet.
The USS Phoenix is equipped with a multitude of new, modified and advanced
weapon and defensive systems. All crew will be informed of such
technologies on a need to know basis.
